The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in Los Angeles is an iconic but older hotel with a huge lobby. The pool was closed during the visit due to maintenance. Some guests noted a tobacco smell in the (Read More)rooms and hallways from previous years when smoking was allowed indoors. The hotel lacks a smart TV and the breakfast is expensive, especially for kids. The staff is described as nice and competent. Some reviewers were disappointed with the size and shape of the bathrooms, but overall the hotel offers a decent value with clean rooms and a good location.

Nice and clean, fountains, elevators, good restaurants~

Tried calling front desk at night for over 30 mins to figure out where to buy water or get it. Went downstairs and it was dead, I think the phones weren't working. Lady at front desk was apologetic and gave us bottled water. We were very thankful

Great place in downtown LA

Easy to get to location, right off major highways, comfortable beds, clean room, great amenities. Staff was also super friendly especially the Valet attendants.

We were going to the Emmys. How bad could things be under those four instances?

The iconic elevators were spectacular and the spacious lobby pristine.

Two large stains featured the coverlet on the bed upon arrival. We were too exhausted from travel to make a fuss. And later, after the Emmys at which my daughter refused to eat the dinner prepared, no room service was available til 7 the next morning, which left her hungry.
