A great Hotel, looking forward to our next visit

We have stayed in the Union Station hotel many times in the past. It is in my humble opinion, the best place to stay in Nashville :-) its a grand old building, but still has a feeling of a boutique hotel. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Regarding breakfast, a bit on the heavy side.

My only negative comment is that through booking.com we shouldve had breakfast included. When we arrived at the hotel, but turns out this was not the case. The staff was very friendly and resolved the question by cutting our breakfast bills in half. That works for me :-)

Loved the experience but for the price, we didnt feel it was a good value and wouldnt stay there again.

Location. My husband is a train fanatic!

Understaffed (not surprising today). Hallways and stairways had not been cleaned for a very long time (understaffed?) Parked our car valet and they had no one to get it out for us to leave. They called another hotel to have someone come get it for us. we had a second key and could see our car so we retrieved it, loaded our belongings and then waited to get our second key.
