Great post-Christmas stay with a massive bed

We stayed in the coach house, separate from the main building, which was really good with its own entrance, suitable for us and our dog. Lovely big room with a massive bed. Even though we were right next to the car park we weren't disturbed with any noise.

Because we arrived at peak time just after Christmas, the car park was full. We parked in a free public car park instead just a couple of minutes walk away so wasn't an issue.

Ideal dog friendly break away after Christmas.

Dog friendly with very friendly staff.

No fault of the hotel The noise church every 15 minutes would chime in the room and with the rooms being old and listed they do not have double glazing.

Absolute disaster. Will never use this hotel again.

Nothing.substandard room.Overpriced .Could have stayed at 4 star hotel with breakfast included at lesser cost.So annoyed that we did not stop for breakfast at 12 per head and drove to a premiere inn at 9.99 each.

Wardrobe with no handle to open.Had to use teaspoon to get it open.Despite immediate complaint no action taken to resolve the problem.Shower over Bath did not work and no time to run a Bath.
