Superb

Unexpected stop in Perth due to weather, this hotel is right in the centre and on the river. We got the last parking space, but could have parked infront of the hotel at a cost. Overall it has a really relaxed feel (maybe the deep couches in the bar and staff attitude are main contributors to this). We ate in the restaurant, plenty of choices and staff were attentive and helpful. The room itself had everything we needed. If you like modern minimalist rooms this probably isnt for you but it suited us and wed definitely stay again.

Only thing of note is the creaky floorboards (reminded me of home!) No real problem to us but if there had been someone below it might have made me worry about disturbing them.

Great location and that made up for deficiencies.

Hotel a little bit tired but warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was very traditional - black pudding; baked beans, bacon etc. Coffee was okayish and service was attentive. Toasters are pretty feeble.

Beds a bit lumpy and uncomfortable.
