Lovely lodge and enjoyed our stay very much - lovely views of the birds and binoculars provided.

No breakfast at the property which for the price is disappointing but the lodge was well equipped and clean and the staff excellent and helpful.

Need to provide breakfast.

Good

Some vandal gutted an old rural inn and left a characterless 1960's type shambles behind. If you come to the beautiful county of Cornwall seeking a link with the past, do not come here. Otherwise its fine, but at 188 pds a night in October - grossly over priced.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful staff and wonderful appointed lodge with great views

Location of Kingfisher Lodge was fantastic

Bathroom was quite small with the handbasin very small especially for shaving

Just perfect. Would defiantly stay here again.

The Cabin was small but perfect, with a table and two chairs on the deck that overlooked the estuary. it had all the facilities you would want plus, lovely white toweling dressing gowns and slippers It also had a coffee machine. Fresh milk and water in the fridge each day. The view from the door and window was over the estuary, it was just lovely a bird watches paradise. The pub served lovely food, if you didn't want to go into town.

Lovely place

Beautiful setting and really well run

It's about a mile or so into the local town and getting a taxi back in the evening was impossible ( I have mobility issues walking that far)

Disappointed and not worth 150 a night

Pros nice having outside space Own entrance Bike storage Powerful shower Robes/slippers/fridge with water and milk Coffee machine Estuary view when sea is in ( otherwise marshy)

Cons Bed a bit hard and small, definitely not king size Flies/ flies and more flies with some midges A bit tired Needs more attention to cleaning Expensive Sunday lunch with all the goodness was Over cooked out of it
