Best nights sleep!

Room was very comfortable and warm. Shower was excellent. Every detail was thought of to make our stay was very comfortable. Very good television and an electric blanket on bed. Breakfast was excellent.

Great hotel with French character

Great boutique hotel in Uplands - short walk to local bars and restaurants. Room was really nicely decorated with a French style, with double doors opening to a balcony area. Huge shower room, comfortable bed, and cooking facilities if we needed them with continental breakfast. Philip was really welcoming on arrival, provided loads of details on where to go in the area (we're not from Swansea) and was available throughout if we needed any help. Would highly recommend!

A lovely oasis in a busy, vibrant and popular area of town.

The Mirador is very different! A real escape from the blandness and uniformity of other hotels. We stayed in the Oriental room and, despite, but perhaps because of the immersive decor, it was really easy to escape the outside world and switch off. The facilities were fantastic. The Christmas decorations and the little extra Christmas gifts were a real treat and the continental breakfast, included in the price, was incredibly substantial. Communication with the hosts was excellent from the onset - very welcoming, informative and friendly. A real hidden gem!

Approaching the Mirador, you could easily be put off by the location. Whilst access into town, the seafront and the Patti Pavillion is all very easy, the street itself was strewn with rubbish and the houses were not all as loved as the Mirador. This is a shame and something that the Mirador has no control over. Luckily, once you step inside, all of that is forgotten and forgiven.

Quirky, hospitable and delightful little hotel

The correspondence with the owners was really helpful, friendly with good suggestions for local places. They clearly care a lot for the hotel and the guests from Xmas decorations to leaving sweets and a continental breakfast with fresh fruit and eggs in the fridge. Additional heaters in room but not needed even in December. Bathroom and rooms spacious and maximimally decorated, very clean and quirky. Uplands is a really fun and convenient part of Swansea especially if visiting the university. Parking in street outside. Would definitely stay again.

Instant coffee in room but can buy two mins walk down the road.

Loved the property. So unique and wonderfully creative with all the comforts of a luxurious stay. Our host Philip was an excellent host who went out of his way to ensure that we had all that was needed, including helping us with parking our Range Rover on the street

Absolutely beautiful upon checking in. Very festive and feels magical. Our room was the parisienne themed room. It was beautiful. Lots of goodies left in tje fridge for us that I've never had before anywhere else. Heated blanket on bed. Roof top terrace.. smart tv. It was perfect. Bed was super comfy. Hosts were great I can not fault anything.

Amazing highly recommend

Everything what a fabulous find. We absolutely loved our stay here. So quirky and Everything provided even some Xmas decorations. The owners kept in contact with check in times and allowed us to check out later. It was my partner's birthday and they surprised us with a cake and prosecco how sweet. Cannot fault this hotel. Very central too. Thank for such an enjoyable stay which we have now decided to return for over the New Year xxx

Lovely , different hotel stay - value for money!

Very unusual & lovely. Owners gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the Venetian Room we stayed in. Lovely Christmas lights and decorations. Room was nice and warm on arrival very cosy. Fridge was full of nice continental breakfast items.

Parking in street was sometime difficult.

Enjoyable, confortable - and exactly what was needed!

An incredibly enjoyable stay - piping hot water, a super comfortable bed; clean, a fridge packed with breakfast goodies every morning, easy independent access and plenty of privacy - and also lovely owners who are on hand to help whenever you need. Less than five minutes walk and youre in the middle of a whole range of different bars and restaurants to choose from. I extended my stay for two nights as I was enjoying it so much and next time I visit, Ill be bringing my mum. My room was exceptional (I stayed in the Egyptian suite this time), and Im looking forward to discovering a different one when I return. I visit Swansea every year, and it feels like this will be my regular landing place. Thank you, Philip and Jeanette!

Simply put, brilliant.

All of it. Decor, comfort, ambiance , breakfast was very generous indeed. Tea making, coffee. Quiet, convenient to shops. Uplands is very good place to be. The hotel is a great place to stay. |Will be back for sure, and Phil & Jeanette are very helpful.
