Stunning apartment to spend Christmas in. Couldn't really fault it at all. Apartment is fully equipped with everything you need with lovely local walks.

The only small things are, it would have been amazing to have a bath and also as a couple it would have been nicer to have a double bed rather than two singles.

Stylish, cozy, pristine, and convenient stay when visiting Birnam/Dunkeld and surrounding area.

Very cute hotel, room was beautifully decorated and spacious for myself. Well equipped room as well for what you needed for a few nights stay. Very clean too. Property was easy walk to local attractions (Birnam and Dunkeld) and conveniently driveable to surrounding areas. The two staff/owners I met were really lovely.

Nice lodge for cost, close to good day trips

Can walk to village area. Private car park. Heating is good in lodge.

One toilet between 4 people. Staes has 2 bathrooms but no toilets in them. 15 steps up to toilet and another 3 steps to bedrooms. Instructions ask you to strip beds which I find unusual from other accomodation in Scotland. Cooking facilities need to be updated as some saucepans but not all have kids. Only had a few teabags, a bit of sugar and no coffee or milk on arrival. 2 dishwashing tablets for 3 days. Property changed ownership on 2nd day we were there so I think the previous owners had lost interest.

Lovely stay in Dunkeld in the Merryburn

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Merryburn, it is a beautiful building located in a beautiful area with amazing scenery. The room itself was very comfortable, clean and cozy. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay again.
