Pleasant

Hidden gem with a great potential

Definitely the vibe of the place, it's quiet and welcoming. It was really cute that we had fully stocked fridge and the "bar". The host apparantely tries to make it as homey as possible and we appreciated it very much. We also enjoyed all the animals we met at the property. All the instruction were great for the newcomers too.

Wifi connection was very weak. The bed was quite small but we anticipated it, the softness made us uncomfortable though, it was quite wobbly. Little details like the towel rack in the bathroom falling off or some bugs in the house were manageable but I wanted to mention it.

Great stay and would absolutely book again while in Inverness.

Beautiful and quaint property. Proprietors were very thoughtful and left me some nice treats. Located on a road that is a nice walk to main sites.

Good, cosy property with adequate amenities where you wont go hungry.

It was cosy. comfortable and peaceful overnight. Host has put some thought into it. It did have a kitchenette and toilet/shower room. The fridge, microwave and kettle were the most useful items. Provided with more breakfast edibles than was expected though sugar was disguised as a soup bowl so I only found it after the first day. File was provided with useful information but the host replied to my numerous messages in good time. Parking space available. Located within easy reach of city centre. 5 TV channels and DVD available and NOW TV which I didn't use. I would use it again if I was coming alone.

Standing room only kitchen space and I decided it wasn't safe to use the table top hob close to the sink. Shower - curtain not to my liking. Towel hook fell off the wall on arrival. Very small sink made it difficult to wash/brush teeth and there was no hot water to it. I was startled by yapping dog behind a gate early morning on opening access door. Unable to sit anywhere inside property if the other person is alseep. Other simple issues that can easily be resolved: squeaky hinge to bedroom, check food expiry dates.

Not a very enjoyable stay.

Bed was comfortable.

Very cluttered. Not the same as the picture on the website. Too much stuff in the accommodation eg air fryer in tiny kitchen, wii in bedroom, stacks of videos, bar gantry on wall (bottles practically empty), fancy tea set on table (unnecessary). Outside space very cramped and unswept.

The location was great and the keys were in the door as promised. The parking was off street and very safe. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of good breakfast items and the refrigerator was nice and cold. We also made good use of the washing machine.

The room was incredibly small. It could have seemed larger, but the place was so crammed with stuff that wasnt necessary like a table, chairs, tea set and DVDs. The kitchen was likewise trying fill too many needs and ended up being almost unusable. Had I pulled down the hot plate and tried to use it I would have probably caught something on fire. The bathroom was OK except for the sink which sits out from the wall only about 9. That might have been fine except for the medicine cabinet/mirror that was over the sink and stood out from the wall about the same. It made spitting out your toothpaste very difficult. Im sure the hosts were very nice people, but we had no interaction with them. Our only indication that someone lived in the house was when the dog would bark at us and the loud party they (maybe it was the neighbors)had in the backyard the night before we left. Sorry to be so negative, but this hoose looks way better on the web than it does in person.

Complimentary breakfast. Sitting outside for the breakfast. Honesty bar (Drinks and Snacks for good value). Fruits. Approximately 15 minutes from the City Center. Late Check-in (due to missed connecting flight) was not a problem.

We knew it would be small ( ref title) but we did not expect it to be a room in a converted garage at the bottom of the garden. Felt claustrophobic, shower was difficult to get in and out of. Didn't like how high the microwave was, felt it was dangerous.
