Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again

The caravan was beyond our expectations - all modern appliances, spacious, and a lovely decking area The view was beautiful. and as the name suggests, there was a lovely lake on site The site was very clean with plenty of recycling and rubbish bins

Whilst we fully appreciated it was out of season, there were very few staff on in the Reception area. Several times we tried to book the swimming pool (it was only open certain days and hours due to the off season), but could not find anyone other than bar staff (who were unable to help)

Disappointing

Ok if you u just need a bed.

The location was lovely and it is located almost in the centre of the island so we could travel easily to wherever we wanted to go. We visited in November and most of the facilities were closed but we knew this when booking. We just needed somewhere to sleep so it was OK for us.. a bit like camping but with central heating. It was clean, and the staff were helpful. We

The mattresses were awful. The duvet covers were on inside out. The curtain was hanging off the rail. The TV was tiny, you couldn't see it from the sofa..although we didn't really watch much anyway as the channels didnt pick.up.good.signal.There was no WiFi which we knew but even mobile signal inside the caravan was limited. The radiator in the main bedroom wasn't.working. I asked staff for help but they couldn't figure it out. I managed to fix it myself by finding a nob underneath but I don't.expect to have to do this on holiday. The bathrooms are tiny,my husband who isnt a big guy kept burning himself on the radiator when he sat on the.toilet as its so cramped but usuable ..the shower was totally claustrophobic even for my children. The "outside dining area" was a small table with 2 chairs which on arrival were knocked over and covered in mud, we wouldn't gave used it as 2 chairs for.5.people isn't sufficient. There wer only 2 towels for 5 people, but I text the emergency number as reception closes fairly early and the they bought me a stack of towels down however considering the time of night, the staff member pulled up outside the caravan with heavy music blaring swear words etc and I had young children. We didn't spend much time in the caravan. If I had to I would have gone a little mad.

We liked the location in the middle of the IOW

spacious, comfy, washing up liquid

There are no hooks to put our coats on when entering. Some hooks to put clothes on in the bathroom/shower would be more convenient than to have to drop clothes on the floor. The TV did NOT have good reception of almost any channel. Some staff members were suddenly seen walking around in our private garden without asking permission, where our expensive bikes were stored. How do we know when we see strangers sneaking into our garden that they are not intending to steal our bikes?

Superb

The location was beautiful and the caravan itself was a good size and comfortable. The Christmas Market was also a nice added extra while we were there. The food at the restaurant was also very nice.

The only issue was having to pay for towels as an extra and some basic essentials like soap in the bathroom were not provided. This would have been fine if we knew in advance but it was not made clear when booking.
