Absolutely fantastic, would love to visit again in the summer months.

Location was excellent, we commuted to and from York city centre by the number 42 bus. The bus stop is right outside the property and the travel time was approximately 18 minutes (2 each). The journey back is from York Piccadilly bus stop (where it drops you off) . So easy. Shopping Outlet village just 11 minutes away too! The property is very quiet as the village is. There is one village pub which we visited every night once off the bus and there is a village shop right outside the property too. The Hut is gorgeous, clean and modern with everything you need (including fresh milk in the fridge) Wood burner is great and we had a mass supply from the little shed outside the Hut. Very cosy inside (too hot sometimes, even in December!) The river was high when we stayed but didnt hinder.

Lovley hut to stay in with a beautiful scenery to wake up to, must be able to travel by car or use local transport which

Beautiful property very comfortable and snug, all facilities needed for a relaxing break.

Bit of a remote location with not the most reliable of public transport, would of been better in the nicer weather to walk along the river. Could do with a pathway or gravel track to the hut as it was very slippy down the muddy track.

Beautiful location on the River ouse, the hut was beautiful quirky stay for us, you can see the owner has put a lot of thought and dedication into giving their guests a welcomed stay. Log fire just made a beautiful setting for a romantic getaway.

Blissful stay in the hut

The hut by the river was perfect,it was spotless inside and outside,it had the most comfortable bed we have slept in,great shower good size great little kitchenette.the view from the hut is stunning over looking the river ouse.

Absolutely beautiful

The property is beautiful and a a great quiet location, it was the perfect chilled out retreat. York was only a few mins drive away, we visited the local pub where the my served excellent food and had friendly staff. Waking up to boats coming down the river was amazing and so relaxing. We will defiantly be back!

It's a beautiful place in a lovely little village, pub at end of road, short bus ride to York and beautiful views. The waterfront cafe for breakfast! Best breakfast I've had and staff are lovely I qould go back just for the breakfast
