The (Read More)rooms were clean and spacious, with peaceful surroundings. The customer service was praised as 5-star. Guests enjoyed the great choice of beers, delicious Sunday lunch, and fabulous New Year's Eve celebration. The staff were commended for their hospitality.

Friendly staff who clearly go beyond what is expected, clean well laid out rooms, location, breakfast. Arrival arrangements worked smoothly

Exceptionally comfortable - and very welcoming

Very comfortable and quiet - gorgeous breakfast - very friendly staff all round - would revisit again like a shot I visited when pub was shut on a Tuesday so wasnt able to sample a ping but still lovely !

Outstanding stay

Beautiful view, set in a lovely part of Wales and close to Cardiff centre. The staff were all incredibly friendly and so kind considering our journey was so difficult and we ended up arriving so late.

The heating wasn't already on when we got to the room but we were shown how to turn it on and off for ourselves. A thermostat would've been preferable.

Would have been better in the summer . Would stay there again.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely spacious room. Excellent bathroom.

Access up the country lane was a bit tricky. Parking was OK. I ought to have booked nearer Cardiff for the visiting I was doing. ( not the fault of the hotel!!

Nicest b&b I've stayed at!

The staff were super friendly throughout my stay. The room was immaculate and well presented on arrival. The food at the pub restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was of the highest quality. This is easily the nicest b&b that I've ever had the pleasure of staying at! I stayed here for business purposes for one night, the way the staff and locals treated me in the evening was amazing, felt like one of the locals! A warm and friendly atmosphere really does make a difference when you're away from home for the night.
