I survived...very basic!

Friendly Lady Bed comfortable

No offer of breakfast Scolding Hot water in shower The Kettle was disgusting with chalk floating around and the water was undrinkable The hotel advertised on - Site parking. It was in the road next to the hotel if you could find a Place No card with the WiFi Code on it Very basic

The room wasn't clean, dirty tissues down the side of the bedside cabinet and the sheets weren't clean. The shower had hair in it!!

Pleasant

This is more a B&B than a hotel. The room size is OK. The bathroom good size. Staff was friendly.

Diner was OK but not great. Quite some noise from the bar coming to our room until quite late at night (loud music). Bed was a bit too small.

Disappointing

Wont be going back.

Had booked for 2 nights in the "Apartment" only to be given "Room 5" which was a "family room"! TV not even in room where double bed was! Dust everywhere under bed, only 1 toilet roll upon arrival. Bath filled up as you stood taking a shower. Owner didnt even come to talk to me for 10mins while she could clearly see me standing there and knew I was waiting for an explanation why my booking had been changed. That was VERY poor behaviour. Was then told we had been moved as the central heating had packed up and an engineer was not sure when he could come to repair. Fair enough. I was then given 30 back off the original booking fee and when I enquired how much breakfast was in the morning I was surprised it wasn't provided complimentarily and was told "the prices are on the menus...". Not a good experience at all I hate to say and Five Bells certainly WONT be seeing me again. Shame as I have been coming to Kingsdown/Ringwould/Deal since 1987 and consider the area to be my second home. Guess I will have to give someone else my money next time...
