Disappointing

The location and price was good. We are local and was a nice getaway for us as a couple.

The room smelt like sewerage and the room felt dirty. The carpet didn't look clean or appealing. Requires a bit of an uplift.

Relaxed and casual - Latin American or Pacific Island feel to it

Lovely with the pool that was a saving grace during very hot days and nights. I do appreciate being able to leave my belongings in the secure locked room once I had checked out. Staff generally nice, including the cleaners.

Super loud when the band was playing in the evenings and the sound travelled straight into my room (123) making it imposible to focus on anything and think straight. From this perspective the stay was not one of value for money. It was stressful. Also, the heater at the far end of the room is leaking water. The water puddle in the concrete floors between level 1 and the ground floor could be prevented if the surface was levelled out so guests don't need to jump across and get their feet wet. I was finally surprised that my plastic bag with items I had bought during the day was taken and carried over by a female staff member, to the back of the bar area - just removed without her informing me beforehand when I was having a drink and listening to The Corbs one night.
