Place was fine for an overnight stay, location for city centre fine. Place was clean enough. Bedrooms were fine.
Front door was jammed and very difficult to open. Some lights did not work and couple of switch sockets were loose. No handle on inside door of top floor bathroom, so could not lock or was stuck inside.

    Leaving
It smelt of gas. The cupboard in 1st floor bathroom was unpleasant and stinky. Not instruction for heating or hot water so was freezing. Wet Washing left in the machine

Perfect for budget group travellers not ideal for couples
Great location. Lots of space inside . Clean bathrooms and bedding.
Not well cared for, run down, fridge off , tried to find plug but couldnt, just found dirt behind. Basic furnishing. No back yard or windows in top bedroom. Dirty oven/trays . Needs a deep clean and some TLC

Ideal for big parties, great bar across the road called the grapes playing like jazz music.
    Bed was super comfortable.
The front door was a nightmare to get into.

A budget venue that is great value for groups or families and dog friendly
It could sleep 6 and it allowed dogs so for a family or a bunch of friends its really good value and a brilliant location for the Philharmonic and cathedral part of the city There is also a just park site 2 minutes walk which is also really good value and that is over the road from a lovely restaurant and cafe bar called the Quarter with loads of outdoor seating and a cool vibe
The electrics were dangerous A bed side light joined to the mains with a plastic strip connector the wasnt insulated so a glass of water knocked over when the light was on would have fused the lights. The standard lamp in the lounge was broken in 2 places and flickered constantly so we turned it off again and the plug point behind the sofa had a massive crack in it and again was dangerous. I phoned these issues into the host and he said that he would go around and fix them and I hope that he did. We arrived at 3 pm but the kitchen lounge area smelled of wet washing as there was a full set of wet washing in the machine with the door open We put it in the dryer and put it on for the cleaner when we went out Its single glazed and the excellent pub on the other side of the road can get noisy but if you stay out late its not a problem if you are in one of them as its a brilliant location for the Grapes over the road The Roscoe Head 3 minutes away and like wise the Philharmonic all brilliant old pubs

    Good
a girly break with my mate
the area was great for town centre in Liverpool
although the little house was quirky and relatively clean on the surface, it was very dusty and looked quite run down ,had to remove dog poo from right at the front door when we arrived, there are no instructions for the WiFi and heating that would help would we stay again probably not but it did us for our 3 day stay.

    Superb
Room for all 6 members of our party. Was able to fully use the facilities and enjoy the views
It was wonderfully close to a popular part of town. Plenty of room in the bedrooms/bathrooms and when a piece of furniture broke they came and fixed it in a timely manner.
The uphill walk and stairs were a bit difficult for the older members of the party and a big hairy spider crawled out from a hole behind the sink. The washer needs instructions.
