Very good

The Blue Barn is a little haven in a lovely garden setting. It was a peaceful getaway!

The Blue Barn is thoughtfully set up. It is spacious inside, with a cosy feel. The furnishings are eclectic but work together nicely to provide some personality. The garden area is lovely with a sitting area to enjoy the sunshine!

Comfortable bed.

Very cold,very draughty.Suitable maybe for I night but nowhere to put clothes other than a few hangers on wall. Minimal basics given price per night. Noisy neighbours playing loud music during only afternoon we could have sat outside was frustrating as we had to clean the outside furniture before we went out..At this price cable/ satellite tv would be an expectation. Definitely would not recommend. We did not meet the owner who was on site,and when we arrived the power cable to the property had been damaged by a vehicle and was laid across drive.The local agents however responded very quickly and offered a very pleasant alternative which had much better facilities. However once cable fixed we were encouraged to move back to The Blue Barn the following day,despite requesting to stay where we were. Given the disruption we feel it was strange to not have contact with owner who had,we believe,insisted we move back. Altogether a very disappointing property.

Convenient and cozy accommodation

The location is really convenient considering this is our first time to Daylesford. Bed was comfy and adequate amenities provided ( the portable heater in the bathroom was very thoughtful as it was freezing at night). Parking onsite is great and easy to check in and out.

There were dead ants floating in the water container of the coffee machine, seems like it had been there for awhile. Luckily we spotted it before using the machine and washed them out. Couch was a bit too soft and uncomfortable for our liking but it's just a personal preference.

We had a delightful time exploring Daylesford. It was rainy but it was lovely looking out on the garden. Enjoyed watching one of the DVDs available, and had everything we needed.
