The Amalfi Boutique Hotel has a perfect location, but the rooms don't match the pictures on the website. Only one out of five rooms had a working air conditioner. The lifts and access cards were not (Read More)properly maintained. On the positive side, the hotel is close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Guests enjoyed their stay, with spacious rooms and access to nearby activities. Good room service and friendly staff were mentioned. Overall, the hotel has some issues but is still recommended for its location and amenities.

Disappointing

Was ok

The hotel has amazing potential because the location and the restaurant downside. However, the rooms themselves are disappointing . Not sure if it was because we had just transferred to an amazing hotel we stayed in before here. But, the hotel downside is promising something great that we're going to get upstairs. The tiles in the rooms loss, we're uncomfortable to step on them just incase they break and cut my boy. The towel rail was loss, no it was falling of the wall. The sofa bed, was falling apart. We were scared to sit on it. The king size bed had single bed duvet covers.

I wish the hotel was decorated better to go with the downstairs deco and we'd be ok with no having a view.

Close to the beach, the street is vibey with different types of restaurants. Close to most tourist attractions

The room was dirty, especially the first two nights. Clean towels were not consistently provided.

Superb

Best value for money in Sea Point!

Spacious room, very nice (=large) bed. Lovely balcony and view of the mountain. Wonderful location and very safe. Free parking is super useful and convenient. Generator for loadshedding is a lifesaver.

Wi-Fi was sometimes slow and often disconnected, so it was not always easy to take work calls from there.

The location, cleanliness, and helpful stuff

The aircon doesn't work, and the excuses were too many. The bed was uncomfortable. I suspect it's broken. Chipped tiles all over the unit, a depressing site. The place is dated and needs a serious upgrade
