The room was spotless and had everything you could ask for.breakfast was fine they had everything you could want

Bathroom needs a bit updating and the room was very dark,i had to leave the lights on nearly all the time.

Disappointing

Good location, nice building

Room was very small and basic which was unexpected for the high price. Ladybird infestation, had to get rid of 20+ across the 3 nights. Just a bit disappointing.

An enjoyable and invigorating night in a beautiful, characterful building with spectacular views.

Excellent bartender and receptionist. Room service was prompt, delivered with elan and beautifully cooked and presented with nicely cooled wine. Stunning views and spacious bathroom.

Scrambled eggs slightly overdone, but this is to be expected in a breakfast buffet situation. We were awoken at 3am, along with the entire hotel by a very effective fire alarm, which turned out to be toast related. This is not a complaint, obviously, but was the only un-enjoyable part of our stay. Evacuation was well executed and we were swiftly and safely returned to our room for further satisfying sleep. The telephone in our room was not working

Travelled with another couple who booked Direct. Not booking site they paid 30 pound less and were given complimentary drinks even though we checked in together and drank together.

Pros and Cons

The bathroom with very hot water! The Priory so close. Coffee making facilities, biscuits. Polite staff.

It would have been nice to be in the main building not banished away to the extension but I guess I needed to upgrade, pity! Tiny window, view. Not value for money overall, too expensive! Not impressed with breakfast either.
