Feels like a second home.

The staff here are amazing. Made to feel so welcome and they couldn't do anything more, they went above and beyond. Everyone here and even within the neighbourhood are very friendly. Highly recommend staying here. The food is homemade, tasty and unbelievably cheap for the plateful you get.

Average room

The room was a nice size with a good size bathroom, we had a bath and shower. The bed was comfortable

The heating did not work the room was cold. We had a storage heater but had to ask for another. Lots of condensation built up in the bathroom and dripped off the towel rail which also did not work. The pillows were hard. Were not made aware of cash only but offered cash back

Ok but......

Room size. Lots of mirrors. Lovely warm duvet.

Draft from window. Heating not on. No hairdryer in room. Room described as King, confusing as had a double bed, it was listed as a double in small print though. No cookies as described, but didn't really expect any lol. This is a venue also, so lots of party noise.

Great for a party

Stayed for a party being held there. Staff lovely friendly, showed us the room snd made sure everything worked. The room was freezing .. tried turning radiator on and still cold. He went to take a shower and turning the bathroom radiator on actually turned the heating on in the room.... weird. But the party warmed us up. Bed was massive. Room was clean. Chefk out was 10am which we thought was a bit early.. assumed it was 11 and only checked at 9.55 so mad rush to get packed.

Bar didn't take card but did do cashback. Was abit confusing. We could run a tab for the room but when it hit 70 we got told to pay it. Then the cashback started . Hubby had 3 card transactions on statement but only remember doing 2...but we let it go.

Very good

Very good value for money and very friendly staff

Well-decorated and very clean room. Plenty of space and a comfy bed. Very good welcome including showing the late access and fire escape.

Sachets of decaf coffee would have been a good idea alongside the caffeinated choice.

Never saw the owner after checking in Room not cleaned over 4 night stay Towels were very wet after two days and not changed We had to buy are own toilet paper I did ask at the bar but still got none
