If you want to be spoken to like a child & freeze all weekend, this is your place!

En-suite bedrooms

Noisy. Basic & cheap fixtures. Pillows like pancakes. Cold. 20 minute walk from city centre, when advertised as close to the centre. 1 key between 12 people, which was lost and then charged 100 to replace cutting a key does not cost 100!! Host was extremely rude, condescending and unpleasant.

Worst place we have EVER paid to stay!!!!

Location good, straight on bus route and only a 5 minute journey into the city centre buses regular about ever 10 minutes.

Couldn't be paid enough to stay again!!!! There was no part of this property where something wasn't damaged, broken or dirty! Key safe difficult to get into very stiff and rusted in places and only one key for the entire property makes it extremely difficult for groups to split for different activities. Property is in a serious state of disrepair! loose hand rail on 1st flight of stairs, broken and damaged chairs around dining table, cracked sink and damaged shower, poorly fitted carpets in bedroom between bedroom and bathroom this was a trip hazard, terrace/garden area full of weeds and loose bench seat which moved when sat on this could case injury. No toilet seat fit the toilet it was attached too! Which moved as you used the toilet. Kitchen door handle hanging off, skirting boards rotten, pieces of plaster found on windowsill and on floor that had fallen off, holes in the walls, walls cracked, scuffed and dirty. one wall containing a dirty handprint. Furniture poorly kept and utensils inadequate for the size of the property. We were a group of 8 and only had 7 mugs and four cereal bowls all plates mismatched and microwave missing its rotating base plate! CLEANLINESS IS A SERIOUS CONCERN!!! Bedding appeared not to have been changed from previous guests. Bedding creased, smelt fusty and sweaty and was stained one pillow case contained a fresh blood stain!! Sofa stained and dirty yet more possible blood stains present. Fresh Blood stains also found on 1 of the bedroom doors. Possible beverage stain up wall behind sofa as well as water damage to ceiling. Stains and large burn marks (iorn) found on stair carpet. Bath Towels contained stains and smelt fusty as if put away wet and kitchen towels were absolutely filthy. Kitchen blinds covered in food and drink stains and grease marks! Floors were dirty as food and bits found in living room.

Excellent value for money - plenty of space. Great that there were 5 bathrooms

The showers didnt really work - water pressure too low for a big property so couldnt really have more than one shower going at a time. At least one of the beds hard clearly not been changed

Good say for me and my friends

Good property for a weekend away. The house itself has lots of space, bigger than I thought. The rooms were clean and tidy on arrival. not too far from the city center (if fancying a nice walk), the local shops are close by as well.

parking for the cars was a bit of a problem but that can be resolved, the weeds in the garden needed to be removed, and only one key for the whole house. It would be better if there were two keys in the case for big groups.

Bedrooms were adequate. Clean linen and towels. All bar one room had en-suite. Kitchen had plenty of utensils. About 10 mins on the bus from city centre. Bus fare 2.

Oven was dirty we didn't use it at all. Both the front and back outside are dirty, scruffy and need a good tidy and paint. The furniture is in desperate need of replacement.

Superb

Stylish house

House itself was great for what we needed, Cleanliness was of a good standard although there was room for improvement, great access to public transport. Local shops very close. Kitchen had all white goods, crockery, utensils, cups and glasses plentiful. We had a great weekend, thank you DEFINITELY would stay again

Room 2 has no bathroom, TV, mirror, wardrobe or chest of drawers. Back yard needed weeding. Was asked to put all rubbish outside before leaving even though there was 125 included in price for cleaning services.
