Superb

Very swish hotel well placed for most of Huddersfild

Really nice rooms.....Very plush

Extras in mini bar very very expensive and paying for water not great. PARKING IS VERY TIGHT

Good on this visit but...

Stayed here several times and as always, the location and staff were excellent. Nice boutique style hotel.

There were a few issues (shower taps, heating) that were thankfully fixed within minutes of reporting. It's my go-to hotel for Hudds, but it's starting to look a little tired in places... blinds not always working, dust under the bed and under the radiator in the rooms we stayed in.

Tiny parking, tiny beds and poor breakfast

The decor was stylish and clean. The staff were pleasant and welcoming.

The parking was very small to manoeuvre and poorly lit. The bed was very small and hard. There was rubbish on the floor from the previous guests which jad not been cleaned. The breakfast although halal was poor quality and small.

If you are going to open.

Firstly the hotel staff are without doubt very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is nicely decorated and comfortable, large spacious rooms. We were excited to stay for Christmas

We were excited to stay for Christmas and thought it would be special. Instead we were asked on arrival on Christmas Eve if we wanted breakfast on Christmas Day as we want the staff to have the day off We said OK we wont have any despite paying for Bed and Breakfast. I thought there would have been an effort to create a special atmosphere and food on Christmas Day. Also no housekeeping on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The heating was only turned on when we asked and on Christmas Day it wasnt turned on in the morning. We asked for a portable heater but seriously the heating should be on. We found out we were the only guests in the hotel hence the reduced service but if you are going to open then you have to provide the service. So all in all a mixed stay! Perhaps before we arrived if the situation could have been explained to us then we could have made a decision as to what we wanted to do. Or when we arrived we could have been offered an upgraded room to reflect the reduced services. On the whole spoilt our Christmas and in future when we book into a hotel in the festive period we will check that all services will be available.

Receptionist was excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.

Mini bar fridge was noisy and we had to fiddle around with radiators to get room temperature right

Probably the best Huddersfield has to offer.

Large well appointed suite. Nice welcome gift. Great selection of toiletries. Great decor throughout the hotel.

No thermostat in the room, just old fashioned radiator valves. Breakfast was quite messy and disorganised, with staff not in uniform. It's also a halal kitchen so no pork bacon or sausages.
