This guest house is a real find - charming hosts, great facilities, fab breakfast and great location

We loved our overnight stay at Southlodge. Steve and Tony are excellent and charming hosts - and Steve's homemade shortbread biscuits (in your room) are a treat! Loved the fact that dressing gowns were provided and breakfast was excellent! Location was brilliant - in a quiet side street but literally a few minutes' walk from the beach and sea front (which is very nice!). We used Bridlington as overnight stay before heading off to see Flamborough Head. If we come back Bridlington way; we are definitely staying with Steve and Tony again!

Really enjoyable stay with Tony and Steve

Breakfast was delicious and Tony and Steve were really helpful and informative hosts. I would definitely stay with them again. They gave us a voucher for use in other local restaurants with 20% off which we used on their Sunday Carvery recommendation at another Hotel.

We had a great stay and don't have any complaints

Restful and comfortable.

Good sized room, clean. Friendly proprietors. Several nice touches like bottles of water and complimentary home made short bread. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant with generous portions of perfectly cooked food.
