Lovely hostel in a good location

The location was good, we liked it was a little out of the way in the hope it would be quiet. We were in an 8 bed dorm and had the entire room to ourselves. The room was clean and they supplied towels and bedding. The air con was good and the WiFi worked. There is a lovely communal area upstairs.

The location is super convenient, close to nearby attractions and cheap. Providing shared space is also comfortable.

The room has no windows, there are watermarks on the walls, no pillowcases, the air conditioner is not cold and there is no remote control. It feels hot until midnight when sleeping, and the sound insulation is not good. There are people chatting loudly in the next room around 2am, which makes it impossible to fall asleep. You can tell the tenant to be quiet after midnight.

We loved the Sleepy Nomad as it suited our needs.

We loved the location on the river and near lots of eateries. The staff were friendly and responded when asked. We had the en suite queen room which suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen and communal areas we of good size and well decorated.

They charged us 15 RM to check in an hour early when we arrived. The room was ready and empty so didnt feel this was justified. The outside patio often had a full ashtray that could have been emptied as there was nobody using it when we were there. These at very small things that shouldnt deter anyone from staying here, just niggles.

Very good

It was a good hostel in general, clean, quiet, good shower, comfy beds, ac, side light, courtain, living room and kitchen rea and great location. Pretty knew

Over the weekend there was nobody in the reception, we were pretty much on our own the whole time so if you needed something you have to figured it out by yourself.

Nice stay next to the river

The place is good located near to the main attractions (red Square, Jonker). It's located next to the river and although it's near the center its quiet and calm.

The room needs a renovation. The aircon is hard to handle due to a slightly working remote. A shower curtain is missing at all.

Superb

The staff are super friendly and welcoming, they recommended me places to eat at and visit. Also, the design of the place is like the photos and is super cute and relaxing and the location is phenomenal, right at the heat of malacca.

The air-conditioning was high and I couldn't couldn't control its temperature
