Very good

Great budget stay.

Nice cabin with everything one would need. Wonderfull box of mince pies on arrival.

Was quite cold on arrival, weather was terrible which obviously is nothing to do with the property, it just took a bit to warm up.

Very pleasant setting, so easy to check in, provides everything you need for a short stay. I will stay again.

Loved the location and all the facilities in the accommodation were provided. It was easy to Collect keys. The cooking facilities were spot on. The heaters were excellent at warming up the lodge.

It sounds daft but I would recommend a path from the parking area across the grass, especially for when it gets wet.

Disappointing

Nice location but lodge needs TLC and cleaning.

The location was quiet.

Reviews dont compare to reality! Needs a good clean and a number of maintenance jobs immediately doing. The owner messaged as we arrived saying the boiler was faulty - after experiencing the rest of the lodge I believe this was long term. Fridge/freezer was barely working and the freezer part was virtually froze over and we needed it for the dogs food. Electrically, extensions were used everywhere and felt incredibly unsafe. Outside had old pieces of wood, old fishing rod, plastic box, old dead plants etc. one bedroom and kitchen cupboards full of stuff that the owner left as told using for storage! Parking is not next to the lodge (which wasnt advertised) with no path just grass. The parking space holds water making it impossible to park without getting wet feet. After complaining, they did move us but the maintenance was still under par, as boiler worked but flooded the worktop with water so had to put a jar to collect and freezer still froze up. Everything poorly done like the shower unit kept coming off the wall and lack of cleaning and care repeatedthough marginally better. these lodges could be a perfect hideaway with some care and attention.

Great location with a spectacular view. Very quiet at night, owner was helpful and easy to contact. Comfortable except for the mattresses in the twin bedroom which need replacing. Well equipped kitchen. Easy parking and access to the lodge.

End of season and showing some signs of wear and tare. The window mechanisms need some maintenance. The boiler pilot light goes out frequently but can be restarted.

Beautiful surroundings. On the irfon river...pity we missed the BBQ and fishing gear at the accommodation my husband found it on the day we left. Restful and just what the doctor ordered we cannot wait to book here again.

Very good

Blissful stay in a Tranquil lodge

We were a bit concerned at first as the drive seemed endless. But the effort was worth the journey. The air is fresh, and the property compound is really lovely and well equipped with all required comfort. It's a novel experience as we lived in a city state.
