Clean and comfortable

Room was clean and comfortable, it was also very quiet.

Check in wasn't easy, I was late and I had to ring them but there was no notice in reception to say I had to ring them and I thought I was locked out.

Its very noisy, can hear everyone coming and going throughout the night and there was a light right outside our window and the curtains were broken

Stay was comfortable and good location.

Rooms are clean and all appliances are in good condition. Good location - closer to Shops and easy to navigate across south Wales. Overall stay was comfortable. Thanks

- Had one issue while ordering the food at the Hotel, a. For larger groups for dinner, it would be better to have some one take orders; instead of asking to book online or order from the bar counter. We were 11-12 of us and it took at least 30 mins to place the order. b. Secondly, the 20% discount (if you book the room from your website) is not applied when we place the order online, which was not informed before hand. Later Alex, has helped us in cancelling the order and then provided a new bill with 20% discount.

Apart from room mix up great stay as always

all of it staff are always friendly stayed their several times

I up graded the room from a double to a family but but booking.com did not inform sessile oak staff. After an hour they was going to put us into another hotel, but they contacted someone who had booked a family room to see if it was required. lucky for us they had double booked and the room was not required. thanks too sessile oak staff they sorted this out! I might in future book through marstons instead of booking.com? though this is the first time I've encountered a problem.

Perfect for our needs, comfortable accommodation, food and drink available in the bar/restaurant.

Good pleasant hotel meeting all basic needs and on Christmas day we were given a little gift bag with a christmas card and some chocolates inside, lovely gesture. Thank you.

A suitcase stand? cradle would make a great difference , not having to place it on the floor if you've not unpacked when on a short stay.

The attitude of some of the staff given a twin room when a double was requested not begin able to get back into our room on day 2 all complaints were handled with contemp by the staff asked to book table for evening meal on 2nd night turned up no table reserved
