Lovely hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again

The location was fantastic and the outside areas were spacious and easy to navigate. Easy to get to Puerto Calero and Puerto del Carmen using the footpaths. Excellent local restaurants in Playa Quemada too.

The bedrooms walls are paper thin, lots of noise travels through. We stayed from 27th December until 3rd January so did expect some Christmas music, but the Christmas tunes were playing 24/7 the whole time - even after New Year!

Architecture, food, rooms, spa.

The entertainment was much better when traditional. Making Spanish people single really old Elvis songs is a bit dated and cringe. I think the acts singing in Spanish music they would normally sing is much more entertaining. The four gents at the pool today were great.

Very relaxing, beautiful clean, 4 star hotel, in a great location.

The hotel is really well situated, beautifully clean and the staff are fantastic and attentive. The rooms are quite basic, as is the mini-bar, but theyre cleaned to a very high standard. The big was also very comfy and the air con worked well. The restaurants for evening meals are fab (the sushi bar is exceptional). The evening entertainment was also good fun.

The buffet for breakfast, lunch and (although I didnt use it) dinner, is average at best, nothing special. All the food is cooked well enough but it gets very samey after a few days - they should change the menu up more frequently. My biggest issue, food-wise, was with the grill restaurant. It is not available for standard guests until 3pm, despite, being situated in the middle of the pool area frequented by the standard guests. Its made available for prestige guests, who dont use it, having paid double for their own 5star facilities at the other end of the complex. And so it sits almost empty every lunchtime, whilst standard guests shuffle back to the buffet bar for the hundredth time. Poor management choice in my opinion and made me feel like a second class citizen. They could also use an extra pair of hands at reception, as it gets quite busy.

Very relaxing although a bit noisy in the afternoons when the pool side bands/music/singing starts!

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and all the fresh fruit and yogurts and dates were excellent. Coffee served separately in a nice coffee pot was also good. Two very good meals in Portofino. Staff throughout are excellent and very well trained.

My room was very nice although starting to become a little dated. I loce colour and the bedroom decor is very beige. Zero colour on the walls and even the art work in the bedroom was black and white! I also love a bath, however there were only baths avalable in suites.

We stay for 3 nights of which the first day was wasted by sales staff but the stay was better after that.

The spa was great and the preffered restaurant was great.

On our first day we were offer 150 in vouchers to listen to a 90 minute sales presentation. After 5 hours sitting with the staff we realised that the terms and conditions did not align with what we were being sold. We still claimed the vouchers but these are given in the form of 3 50 voucher notes which can not be broken down into change or exchanged for real money.
