Pleasant

Was fine for a one night stay before we caught a flight.

Location was good, short 5 mins taxi to the beach. Room size was huge with working tv. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.

Nothing. It was a pleasant stay.

Not so great

The property looked amazing, just a pity we didn't get to enjoy it in better circumstances.

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience here. When we arrived, we found the manager drunk, and it didn't make us feel safe. We were shown to the wrong room which had other guests belongings in it. There was loadshedding as well. However, we got into our room and stayed there and left very early the next morning.

The facilities were beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to accommodate a vegan diet for us and went out of their way to make sure there were vegan-friendly options available for breakfast.

The host was very kind and helpful ,loved the chat, hospitality and her going out of her way for us and accepting our request and booking on short notice. Staff were awesome and helpful the overall stay was a delight. Tea and coffee were available in our room and a small bar fridge which was quite convenient. There's a beautiful sea view on the top balcony with lovely bathing chairs. The house is beautiful and a great interior design plenty space and facilities to use and relax in which we took full advantage of. Stunning pool area and deck with more sun bathing chairs and lovely greenery. Plenty of chairs and tables outside and also comfortable areas for smoking. A small TV in the room with DStv available. You will wake up to a freshly prepared full English breakfast by the kind staff. Easy access in and out of the house plenty entrances and exits made it easy to navigate. Spacious bathroom with plenty towels available good quality shower gels shampoo handwash and toilet paper were provided. Room is well lit good interior design enough storage space for bags and other little things.

The load shedding to be fair was out of her control the host has solar power which unfortunately was not working but to her credit she did explain before hand which we accepted however when the power came back the air conditioning in our room did not work at all it felt very stuffy we didn't want to open the doors for air due to the cockroaches which were already in our room and to prevent any more from getting in and there were no windows in our room. We had a very rough sleep due to this which dampened our overall good experience. Would love to come back to review.

Very good

A quick stopover in Ballito

A modern home with some unique creative flare! The rooms were very comfortable. Johnson was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home straight away. Breakfast had a lot of variety to meet everyone's preferences.

Unfortunately, the wind was very strong that day, which prevented us from enjoying the full views that the guesthouse offered.
