Great location - lovely rooms

Location Rooms nice. Bed comfy Staff very friendly and helpful

Breakfast set up not great though full breakfast itself was lovely day 1 - eggs Benedict day 2 not so much - no sauce at all just a vinegary sauce Ran out of orange juice No saucers for cups or tea spoons though cant knock staff very helpful

The staff was quick to respond and accomodating

The hotel was very run down and dirty. I first thought it was just old and the decor needed an update. But when I went to my room, the was dried poop in the toilet bowl, unknown smears on the bathroom floor, and overall left me concerned for cleanliness. I was nervous to sleep there and eat there in case of pests. There was no where else to stay in the town though. I notified the staff over the state of my room and they apologized and immediately offered to clean the room. I was pleasantly surprised by their promptness and understanding. I had to stay 2 nights, I did not receive any flea or begbug bites but I was very concerned about that.

Superb

Lovely hotel with great staff, excellent value for money.

Friendly, helpful staff who were very welcoming. Really comfortable stay.

No negatives at all, wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to people. Some people might be bothered by the music from the bar but it didnt bother us at all.

Great wee place

Staff were fantastic, really hospitable. Room was lovely, clean and with everything I needed. A comfortable and affordable stay. Also enjoyed great quality food in the hotel bar.

Very good

Stay was great. Dinner was excellent.

Breakfast said it was served from half 7 but the kitchen did not start preparing until after half 7. We were working so then missed breakfast due to this. If breakfast had anything to go with the dinner then I'm sure it would have been excellent. Maybe this is something to reconsider about breakfast timings

Superb

Excellent stay

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It was a quick one night stay, but very comfortable, room was big enough with all the facilities we needed. Added bonus was the bar downstairs for a wee night cap after relaxing evening at the Hot Box. We really enjoyed the breakfast service, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again to explore the area a bit more. Great value for money, and I highly recommend staying there!
