We had higher expectations for the hotel. The restaurant/bar staff did not seem to be quite informed on anything. We had many experiences with orders that they said was sold old, to find out later that it was not. One day, we waited a whole hour in the Clemente bar, to get served. The same with 2 other couples. After asking for help, we got to make an order, and 30 minutes later, there came another waiter and asked us about our order, because his colleague did not get it in the system. We waited a long a time, and being hungry on an island where there is no other options, is quite bad.
We did not want to sit at the bar anymore, so we asked to get the order to our room.
When we came to our room, our roomcard did not work, again. This happened several times. We had to go down to the reception several times to get it fixed.
We also asked about going to the Murano Island, where we got informed about the complimentary boat to the island, which we were very exited about. We planned it at 2:00pm the day after, and when we came, there was no boat, no reservation or anything. We had to wait almost an hour for the boat. We also did not get informed about the schedule on the Murano island. We thought we would just be dropped off, to explore on our own and go for a lunch, but we came to the glass fabric and had to go on the planned excursion. It was a great experience, if we would have been informed. When we were done, we could not get a lunch anywhere, because everything was closed.
