I didnt read the property description properly and I selected a shared bathroom my mistake, I was lucky that no one came to the other room except for the last night stay but it was no problem and my own mistake, the 4 flights of stairs are no joke .

Great price, location - NOTE: no elevator to carry bags up to room!

Great staff, room was as expected, excellent price for location!

Be prepared: no elevator, so know you'll need to carry your luggage up a narrow, winding staircase.

Was OK, some control needed on noise management in the property

It was conveniently located, very much clean, working internet, quite a few good places to eat within walking distance and a safe neighbourhood

There was no lift, only stairs and we could not sleep at night as other boarders were making loud noises on the stairs till 2-3AM and shouting aloud in the stairs. My 8 years old could not sleep at all for 2 nights till 3AM.

Great mid priced stay, in an up and coming area. Some noise issues.

Location was great, nice easy stroll into the centre and to the rail and Metro stations. Room was nice and big. It was clean, comfortable had everything we needed. Towels changed every day and room cleaned and tidied. Hosts were very pleasant.

The area is undergoing some redevelopment at the moment so some building work going on. This however will improve the area in years to come. I found it a little too noisy for my liking, traffic noise was a problem but understandable I suspect anywhere in and around the centre will have similar issues).More of a concern was the internal noise, a. From the room above. b. From the stairs at all hours of the night.

Romantic but a bit noisy for light sleepers

The room other than noise looked very nice, well thought trough, elements and things were in good condition. The bed is comfortable, not too soft and pillows were ok for me. The blankets were very old school, havent seen that in a while, awesome! There is a water kettle and 2 tea+ scoffee bags in the room. We had a shared bathroom, which didnt bother us at all in off season. But if its busy it should be annoying that the toilet may take a while to be accessible. The neighbourhood is nice, lively. There are a few buildings nearby completely detoriating. Perhaps thats owners trying to get rid of monument status to put down something new? But it didnt kill the vibe. The staff is super friendly and professional.

Unfortunately I could not get a good nights rest: the room has single glass so all the noise from outside gets to you, even on the top floor. And thats a manageable fix: get double glass, (will also reduce the heating bill in winter).
