SaffronStays HeavOne Penta, Lonavala

I recently visited Saffron Stay - HeavONE Penta (Lonavala) - 26th May - 28th May with my family to celebrate my parent's anniversary, but our experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Located 30 minutes away from the city, the property lacked nearby dining options, which was our first inconvenience. However, that was just the beginning of a series of letdowns. Upon arriving at the property on May 26th at 1:00 pm, we expected to have lunch. Unfortunately, it seemed as if they were unprepared for any guests at all. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were in a dirty state, with some not even flushed. To our surprise, the staff went to get vegetables only after our arrival, resulting in lunch being prepared at 3:30 pm. The plates on which we were served were disgusting and not fit for humans to eat on. We specifically informed them about the dietary needs of our senior citizens who required timely meals due to diabetic and blood pressure medication. However, the staff mentioned that the manager was absent, leaving them clueless about the situation. We reached out to Prashant from Saffron Stay, who assured us that everything would be taken care of from that point forward. While dinner was served on time, it consisted of the same food that was prepared for lunch. Contrary to what was mentioned in the menu during booking, no dessert was provided. As a result, some of us chose to skip dinner, unwilling to consume a meal prepared hours earlier. The most disappointing incident occurred the following morning during breakfast. As we all gathered for breakfast, it was served to only four out of the nine people in our group. The staff informed us that they had run out of bread, eggs, and milk, leaving the rest of us without breakfast. Faced with no other option, half of our group had to travel to the city to have breakfast elsewhere in order to take their necessary medications.
