Very good

If you crave escape from the rat race/ seclusion give this a try.

I always seek out countryside/rural locations when travelling on my motorbike for obvious reasons and this gem did not disappoint. I,m born and bred county durham and even though i travel extensively through england, scotland and wales, northumberland, literally on my doorstep, is still a massive draw. Will definitely return to this particular one.

Nice rural location. Close to Hexham. Helpful host made us feel welcome without being obtrusive. Nice walk for dogs nearby. Room spacious, warm and cosy, wrll equiped.

We weren't here long- just the one night while we visited friends in nearby Hexham as part of a longer trip. I wish it had been longer. Judging by the adjacent camping facility, it is obviously popular with ramblers and hikers, and I would have loved to have walked a few miles. It is located in a beautiful quiet corner of the country, in an old farmhouse. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. I can recommend it.

Comfortable clean and welcoming. So quiet and a lovely area to stay. Breakfast was fabulous and homemade breads, jams etc. Elizabeth the host was so lovely. Thank you. Great value and rural farm setting was perfect.

Relaxing, cosy, quiet.

Elizabeth was welcoming and the accommodation was clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. The property is located in an extremely quiet, rural hill farm. Breakfast was excellent, made with what looked like home grown or locally scoured ingredients.

Perfect place to stay.

Absolutely brilliant, loved everything about our stay, the room was perfect, very clean, the breakfasts were amazing and Elizabeth was so lovely. Was really peaceful and quiet. We will definitely book again.
