A lovely stay, but wasnt perfect.

A gorgeous and unique property.

The family room is small and expensive compared to the less expensive suite. Also, the enormous amount of over-the-top Christmas decorations took away from the Art-Deco decor.

Great location and rooms - would definitely recommend!

Lovely boutique hotel in great location, right on the lake in Kandy. We were upgraded upon arrival and had a really nice big room with large bed and large balcony. Very clean with nice bathroom too.

It was raining heavily when we were there so the restaurant did feel quite dark

Nice location by the lake

The location by the lake is very nice, just a short walk to the excellent 'Hideout' bar and restaurant. The room's decor is very nice, and we appreciated having a lot of wardrobe space. The breakfast was tasty.

The wifi did not work at all, anywhere in the building. Our room opened straight into the open lobby, essentially we were above the restaurant, so that was a little unexpected, but it wasn't too noisy. The balcony was not good, very tiny overlooking waste ground. The pool wasn't very clean and there is a building under construction next door. There are building workers looking down on you so I wouldn't feel comfortable being in my swim wear. The incessant noise of the ice cream vans was a lot!

Very relaxing and enjoyable, would definitely stay again!

It was very clean, had great breakfast, it was in a superb location, the rooms were incredible, and the staff were amazing. We had a family apartment consisting of two separate bedrooms connected by a private hallway.

We loved everything. Our stay was great overall.

Fabulous

Great location right outside the lake- perfect start for a 10-15 mins stroll to various spots. Breakfast was amazing and very filling so much that we skipped lunch most days. Staff were very attentive and treated us like family. Front desk especially was very efficient in helping us with transport and daily visits. The lawn outside is great for a nice afternoon tea or to just watch the streets of Kandy. Few facilities but the billiards room was a hit with the kids.

Nothing at all. Great value for money. More vegetarian and kid friendly options on the menu would have been welcome, but the kitchen staff custom made food for us and the kids so that was very helpful.

The photos are misleading , this place is run down . The staff try their hardest

Most of the staff were super helpful - they just really didnt seem capable of running the hotel effectively

The first room we were shown to had no windows and a door to a balcony which looked over a rubbish dump . The second better version had a view of a roof . We were told they were fully booked so no other rooms but in reality there were 3 rooms only taken .
