Lovely cottage

This is a lovely cottage, with character. The location is great - just a 5 minute stroll to the ferry piers and yet it is in a quiet setting near the end of cul de sac. Beds are comfy. The furniture and fittings are all good quality and in excellent condition. We had a lovely week at Raglan COTTAGE! PS A big thank you to the changeover team - everything very clean and tidy

Fallen in love with the Lake District

Raglan Cottage was in the perfect location in Bowness, just off the main street with a bus stop right at the end of the road. For such a central location it was very quiet too. The cottage is cosy, clean, and well equipped, and the beds were super comfy! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.

No amenities and they were very inflexible when I asked them to put the 2 single beds as 1. Personnel where not responding messages. Difficult to park.

It was lovely - extremely clean, warm, had everything we needed for the stay (good shower, dishwasher/washer/freezer space, cooking items etc) and a great location. We did not have a car and the bus service from the end of the road is great, very easy to get to Ambleside and Grasmere. Walking distance to Windermere village and Bowness. They called us to check everything was okay on arrival which we appreciated. We hope to return to Raglan Cottage in the future :-)
