Superb

The room was compact, and there are no restaurant facilities onside, but I knew this. There is a McDonalds a short walk away, and the hotel had many leaflets for different takeaways that deliver. There is a kitchenette for Customers to use. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I slept like a log, the room was very quiet. Tea facilities and TV. Fabulously hot, powerful and large shower cubicle ( I am 6 foot 2, fitted in easily). I would stay here again, probably the best budget room I have stayed in. Perfectly located to visit the Kelpies...which was my plan!

Missed a breakfast onside, but I knew in advance and made alternate arrangements.

Great experience, would stay here again!

Extremely clean, very friendly staff. Kitchen for everyones use with cutlery, washing up supplies, a fridge, cooking equipment and glasses. Room was quiet and not much light pollution with the blinds down. Lovely location if you want to see the Kelpie statues, 5 min walk from them and plenty of food places within walking distance too!

Not a lot really, it would have been nice to have some sort of restaurant but this was made very clear before we booked so it wasnt really a problem at all.

Great value with good connections.

Lovey staff, spacious parking and quiet area. There is no onsite restaurant, but we could use fridge/freezer along with plates and cutlery in the staff area. Bus stop is only 5 minute walk and McDonald in about 7.

Definitely stay here again for the friendly staff, location, comfortable, clean, warm & quiet rooms.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable, & friendly. Great choice for business or a road trip stopover. Location to Kelpies easy 10 minute walk. Easy to get onto motorway for travel to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Spotlessly clean. Staff are immediately welcoming, warm & happy to answer questions & provide a little local knowledge. Free parking. Good WiFi. Very quiet at night - absolutely no disturbances or traffic noise whatsoever.

Not a great place if you want to walk out at night for a meal or anything as it is located in the middle of an Industrial Estate. They do have a number of places that deliver food but its not great quality. Not a huge problem though - we just ate before we returned.

Basic accomodations with excellent staff

Premier Lodge is located in an semi-industrial area. Given that, it was fairly quiet, being a few blocks off the main road through the area. We chose it primarily for it's proximity to the Kelpies, which are a 15-20 minute walk away. Very friendly, efficient staff; clean, comfortable room, well-appointed for the most part.

No breakfast options, other than being advised we were welcome to use the staff kitchen on the ground floor. This had a microwave and refrigerator.

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

We were able to book online at short notice. Staff on site at all times, they were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very y clean.

The location was not brilliant but it caused us no problems.

Honest Review

The staff at the reception where extremely nice and friendly. I just mentioned getting a taxi, and next thing you know the reception is calling one up for me and chatting to me while I wait, and in an unknown area for most people it's harder than you think getting a good taxi that and I have social anxiety so the fact I felt comfortable was a big surprise that's why I rated so high . Very courteous staff.

Sadly if I wanted hot food, I'd need to order out or go to the vending machine.
