Merry Christmas at the Pontchartrain

The location is fabulous with a trolley stop & Hop on/ Off Bus right across the street. We stayed for 7 days in a suite ( rm. 312) as our adult daughter met us there to celebrate the holidays. The suite gave us the extra room desired with dresser space in 2 distinct areas which helped when 3 of us getting dressed AM or PM. Bathroom had an additional tall cabinet for toiletries. Coffee table provided a great space for this game loving family. Any request made was fulfilled promptly even during busy holiday & Sugar Bowl . Impressive how they had staff operate elevator with priority to hotel guests b4 patrons for roof top bar. Staying here was a rare splurge for us but DiJon & Iris at desk and Edwardo & another doorman made it a truly memorable stay. We did not try restaurants as we enjoy vegan choices & so many great ones reached by trolley. Even vegan dining was exceptional in the Big Easy. Do try Avenue cafe one block to the right which amazed us for breakfast 4x!

Staff was accommodating and very friendly and apologetic with the stay

Location was great and staff was very accommodating with our issues

It seemed disorganized and not enough staff for check in. Sunday when we left there was no brunch available. We were given the wrong room. They overbooked the rooms and our other family members also got bumped from their room With a Minimum rate difference. I never spoke to the manager. She didnt call us.

Very good

Staff was wonderful and very welcoming. The room was very comfortable and had the perfect vibe we were looking for this trip! Had lunch at the bar downstairs and the service was excellent and our lunch was great.

in room coffee service horrible - instant coffee!! Elevator broken during entire stay, LONG delays from 11th floor...one time had to walk down 11 flights to get to lobby in time...terrible table in room was too small and cluttered Asked for bill on departure, desk person said he would email, never did. Called hotel, left message to send bill, no response. How can a 4 star hotel have such poor customer service??

Quaint hotel in a desirable location with friendly/professional staff!

Location, comfortable beds, staff, bathroom/huge shower

Common areas (not the actual room) were not clean. Trash on the floors not picked up our entire stay. Lobby and common areas needed a thorough cleaning.
