Superb

A really nice stay - shame I couldn't stay longer.

A really nice apartment and gorgeous views of the various types of trees around the resort, great architecture and friendly hotel staff.

Dont book into 22!

Good location

No double bed! Twin bed in both rooms. Head boards not attached to bed so noisy when moved about. Rough old towels and faded bedding. Uncomfortable well used pillows. Tired decor. Front door in bad state. No iron provided. First evening kettle blew the fuses. However fixed quickly. Only 2 loo rolls provided. Curtains were torn!! New curtains needed in lounge.

Great location

the area is great and the communal area is very well kept. Lots of places nearby to eat plus marina is only 2 min drive or 10 min walk . going to old town is cheap via uber. Beach is a walking distance. Will definitely return to this area

the housekeeping team needs to clean better the fridge,windows, washing machine tray and round the bath need to be cleaned as they have mould. The shower tray needs updating as it has patched, which makes it look dirty .

Good value for the money.

The thing that was good about the location was that it was close to the beach also the resort was pretty close to Albufiera and close to some sourvenir shops.Good value for the money.

What I did not like was that in the night the fuses where tripping off and the kitchen could be slightly better equipped. The swimming pool supposed to be opened at all times and even in the winter.

Superb

A great escape from the British weather in November

Ponta grande is set at the top of a hill about 15minute walk from albuferia marina. It was a great location for lots of little beaches in the area The complex was clean and gardens very well maintained and everything seemed in good order.There were several restaurants nearby which were superb and for 4 you can get an Uber into Albufeira old town where the choice of restaurants is exceptional. The weather early November was mid 20s and very pleasant but did dip in the evenings and get dark quite early. For a couples getaway it was great and high season I should imagine its a hit with families and people of all ages. The pool was amazing and I swam several times and usually had the pool to myself ( a bit fresh when you first got in but after a few lengths it was lovely)

There was apparently free WiFi in the reception which I felt was a shame as most places offer free WiFi everywhere but it wasnt a problem as we didnt need to use gadgets anyway but with teens I would imagine its a nightmare. We also booked as it said a supermarket and restaurant on site but both were closed the day before we arrived and the duration of our stay. Again not a problem but could inconvenience less able bodied people.

location staff good. but untensils or stuff in apartment either broke or not working plates were all

nice and spacious

was told it would be 4 single beds and one double sofa bed but when we arrived it was 1 double 2 singles and I double sofa. what made sleeping arrangements hard as we have 3 young kids. also all plates had chips in them cups handles were all broken only one big cup kettle was broke and iron only worked when it wanted to.
