Fantastic festive retreat

The location of the house is excellent. 10 Minute walk into the centre but on such a lovely little quiet street. The house was compact but had everything we needed. Despite the weather outside dropping to freezing, we never felt cold when we were in the house.

Cosy home from home in central York.

Very comfortable beds, cosy, well equipped kitchen. Fantastic location.

Very minor, and the welcome email did explain, it was a bit of a trek to the loo in the middle of the night.

Very convenient, support from the owners was excellent, overall we liked the accommodation.

The location was perfect, close enough to the city centre to enable "nipping in" to get pastries but far enough out to be very quiet. The wifi was excellent. The shower was wonderful.

The shower has a tendency to leak water onto the floor because the half door does not seal fully, Not enough plug sockets and they are not conventiently located

Convenient for York city centre.

The location of the property is brilliant. Only a 10 minute walk into the heart of York City Centre. Being pet friendly as well is a bonus.

It would be great to get some net curtains or blinds on the windows, especially in the bedrooms. Closing the curtains meant rooms were a bit dark to get ready in and having to put the lights on during the day is not ideal. We did feel a little bit "on show" although the dog thought it was great!
