A lovely stay in a fantastic hotel.

First time in a parador- but hopefully not the last. Everything was fantastic- the staff was extremely kind and helpful, the location fantastic with a marvellous view over Malaga, both dinners and breakfasts very tasty and the building as such very beautiful. A couple of nights here, away from the crowds in central Malaga, is recommended!

My family and I enjoyed the complete experience with the hotel and its staff

everything perfect location, room and spectacular view and the really superb restaurant and terrace areas with views and comfort

maybe the service in the terrace areas a little slow in cleaning the tables especially in the afternoons

Really enjoyed the stay but food choice was dissapointing

The quality of the premises, the friendly welcoming staff, the room, the view.

Sorry but the food menu both restaurant and terrace were not something that we would eat. Very specific types of food that dont match most non Spanish guests would choose. We were looking forward to eating at the hotel and so disappointed with the choice.and that we couldnt eat there but had to go down to town.

The perfect setting for two days with close friends at this time of the year.

This location is all about the view, which is breathtaking. But, by being a little remote from the town, it makes it quiet. Of course you then need to get a taxi down into the town - but you can't have one without the other!

A hotel like this prides itself in excelling in everything. Consequently there is nothing to not like.

Such a sad visit, Parador Gibralfaro has lost its sparkle you wouldnt really know it was Christmas , it will be some t

It has always been one of our most favourite paradors for location

Sadly it has lost its sparkle , it was very evident especially now at Christmas .The decorations were poor and very basic, there were more lamps out in the main bar than actually working.There was one bauble from each light fitting in the dining room if people are going for a festive feel they will be very disappointed , years past it has been spectacularmore effort required with very stiff competition in Malaga We ordered 2 soft poached eggs at breakfast that took 25mins to arrive , and were appalling. Room and staff were super, but it needs far more TLC to compete .
