Cute place with nice rooms and right on the beach
Beach front views and beach not heavily populated during our stay at the end of Oct. Our room was on bottom and you can walk out 3 steps to sand. Big sand dune in front of bottom level rooms. Ocean front top level can see beach from rooms. All rooms have outdoor chairs and tables outside in front of rooms. Sun rises are the best! The weather happened to be in 70s and 80s during our stay. Kitchenette and fridge are awesome to have. Room has all dishes you need for cooking and eating. Cute place mins from many restaurants and cool shopping spots (must visit Sea Green Gallery for super unique gifts). A lot of places were closed for off season, but many are still open until Nov or Dec. Will definitely go back and stay here. Bring your beach chairs and umbrella.

Bottom level ocean front has big dune in front of rooms that blocks beach view. But only a few steps up dune to get to see beach, so not exactly bad. You can hear waves crashing at night. Nice.

Overall it was ok. We spent as much time at the beach as we could.
The property has updated their rooms and was clean. Good location to many restaurants and shops. Walk to beach not bad at all.
The air conditioning was loud and disturbing and the bed frame would making a popping sound (sine metal like) when getting on and off bed. The room we had was not too big. Could use a hook or two in the bathroom to help. Wish the outside would have been updated as well.

Bittersweet trip
Loved our room this was the 2nd year that we came to stay for our anniversary. We loved the pool as well and the people we met. The places to visit and dine were very close. Didn't have any problems with anyone. Just making friends and trying to enjoy our anniversary. Also the price is worth every dollar.
Well for 2 people over 50 with bad knees and broken foot, didn't like being on the 2nd floor. Loved the ocean view and would not want any room without an ocean view. The steps were full of sand and hard to get luggage up. I cant do steps but one at a time. It was very hard for us. We had to leave some of our things in our car bc it was just too hard to haul them around. Also in the last review I left last year I had requested some kind of straight or flat walk way to the beach on. We simply missed out on setting on the beach for more than 5 hours our whole stay. We were booked 9/5 to 9/8. As much as we loved the place and have referred this place to many of our friends, unfortunately this will be our last trip to The Motor lodge bc we are just not physically able to get around very well. This saddens us but we just can't enjoy ourselves. We will continue to recommend the place bc we did love the stay and the privacy of feeling like our own personal beach getaway.

The motor lodge was clean. We parked right in front of our room. The pool was my daughters favorite. The beach was just
It was clean and the perfect location. We were able to get everywhere very easily.
