Excellent way to experience Halong Bay!

The onboarding process was not too bad. Then throughout the stay - all staff members were so kind, rooms were excellent, chef really took care and make sure to adapt each of the meals to our restrictions, attractions was nice and not too heavy - we really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended way to experience Halong Bay!

It took me quite some time to compare and find the right cruise within our budget, but I was so happy that I was able to pick Orchid eventually, it was the highlight of our Vietnam trip!

Great experience with wonderful ship and service

We stayed in Orchid Classic 2 (there are different cruise ships of the same company). Beautiful ship, nice view from our balcony, clean and comfortable room! Everything was well organized: we had relaxed day trips, good food and great service (especially our waiter LyLy was great knowing all our preferences and allergies).

Minor things like some smell coming out of the shower when not in use. But otherwise, great!

Everything was outstanding. The whole trip from start to finish was flawless and went so smoothly. Every member of the crew were amazing but in particular Emmanuel and Peter were exceptional. There was a perfect mix of free time and activities and the excursions that were included were incredible. The rooms were outstanding and the food was brilliant. Alot of fish or seafood but could be substituted. Amazing value for money

Absolutley fantastic - once in a life time experience

We had booked the classic cruise originally and I was contacted by the Orchid staff saying that I was upgraded. My first reaction was to be cautions as we do hear about several scams happening with the Halong Bay cruises, but I decided to accept it. What a fantastic experience !! I will be forever grateful for being chosen and have had the chance to be in a very exclusive cruise. The boat has capacity for only 10 people (5 cabines) but we only had 6 guests on board. The boat and the rooms were impeccable. The food was delicious and very generous. But the best part was the crew. They were always helpful and very supportive which made our trip even better. It was definitely a once in a life time experience I totally recommend doing it if Orchid, and while I am sure the classic cruise would have been excellent as well, the premium was just very especial.

A must for any visit to Vietnam,

Wonderful experience from the outset. Communication was excellent, pickup was ontime and very comfortable, the board / crew / food / suite etc are outstanding and the sights are just beautiful. I cannot recommend Orchid and this experience highly enough.

A wonderful 2 night cruise!

The boat is just beautiful, not too many people on board so plenty of quiet space. The staff are so friendly and happy. The food on board is good quality and a nice variety. A wonderful experience.

We ordered a bottle of wine to share with friends, a Chilean Chardonnay, and we didn't take proper notice of the price, turns out it cost us $150 AUD, which was a bit of a shock. The same bottle off the boat is around $30AUD. We learnt our lesson and enjoyed cocktails instead!

Highlight of our trip, Way beyond our expectations. Highly recomended

The atmosphere was amazing created by the staff, all the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable (we were Classic 1). Special thanks to Emanuel, Alex and Tee, they were amazing, looking after our every need. They made a big fuss of my birthday and organised a special birthday surprise . The food was fantastic and in abundance. Met some great people on our boat and others. The rooms were way beyond the size and comfort we imagined. The highlight of our trip. Classic cruises have amazing organisation and teams. You can just sit back, enjoy and trust the team.
