Value for money in a quiet and peaceful place.

Quite happy with the location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and general facilities but I thought the breakfast (for which I paid separately as I did not book with breakfast) could have been slightly better.

I knew it was a vegetarian place and that was perfectly okay with me but I thought it was far from reaching a basic simple breakfast one would expect to have.

Our stay at this uncommon urban retreat was nothing short of magical. Initially, my wife had reservations and apprehensions, but as time passed, she fell in love with the place even more than I did. It offered a serene, nature-friendly, and blissfully relaxed atmosphere amidst the bustling city. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome by Nadine, who showered us with genuine hospitality throughout our stay. Her graciousness and attentiveness made our experience truly memorable. The calmness that enveloped this hidden gem was truly remarkable. It provided the perfect escape from the chaos of city life, offering a peaceful haven where we could unwind and rejuvenate. Surrounded by nature and cats , we were able to disconnect from the outside world and truly immerse ourselves in tranquility. This uncommon urban stay turned out to be a delightful surprise for both of us. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are grateful for the wonderful memories we created during our time there. Thank you to Nadine for creating such a special retreat. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a serene and unforgettable experience amidst the city.

It's better to make the rooms' curtains a bit thicker.

The location was quiet and peaceful.

The room curtains were too thin to block the morning light and don't even cover the windows properly. There was a glass fixed in the ceiling through which light comes in the room that disturbs your sleep. The water pump was not working properly.

best escape from busy Colombo but still Colombo

We spend a very relaxed time here, it was like a retreat! And on the top we cant believe were still in Colombo, the area around is so relaxed and calming, you have an access to garden and you feel like youre in jungle- completely untouched area with various birds they wake you up in the morning. Here enough places to spend some time outside of the room for you alone or in common. There is yoga everyday, you can spend some time with the lovely 3 cats and enjoy a really good sri lankan breakfast. The staff is like a small family and let you feel like friends all the time.

Superb

honest and great place

Run by supernice people. I did a private yoga class with Nadine. Great class. We could stall our suitcases there while travelling Sri Lanka and it felt so trustworthy. Happy to recommend to anybody.

Very good

Beautiful and quiet place.

Very big and clean room, the balcony is great. Quiet place and neigbourghood. Birds and squirels around. Kind staff. Thank you for the ceremony.

Advice for improvement: Limonade should not be 1$ but better served as a welcome drink. The soup as well 1$ is not necessary, specially when it is suggested during breakfast time and no mention is made on the price. Personally I don't care much but you have to improve this to make your staying experience even better. Thank you for the great stay.
