Lovely place near the Union Villa Estate

The property is beautiful and quiet. There is a plunge pool (which we used a lot) and a larger pool if you prefer. Penny is available via whatsapp and comes in at least once a day to check on you and see if you need anything cleaned. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen so that we could make breakfast in the morning.

Very minor issue, but we could not pay via credit card. The machine was having connection problems. While I was told that this was a new issue, I've read reviews on here that mentioned this same problem. I think the owner should just state that payment by cash is preferred to avoid the hassle of walking the 2 kilometers back to the port where the banks and ATMs are located. For all those wishing to stay here, by all means do so, but bring your payment in cash.

Perfect stay in La Digue

It was our wedding anniversary on the first night. The room was decorated accordingly by Penny, and we were even offered a bottle of wine. The entrance has been renovated and looks even better than the photos. The pool is kept clean and is really nice for a nightly swim. Penny was very helpful and answered all our questions and even asked if we needed help with anything else such us a taxi to the ferry etc. The chalet is clean and the AC is working well. The location is super calm except on saturday nights where a neighbour blasted some music but that didn't bother us. We really didn't encounter construction noise since we left early in the morning and came back at 6pm. The chalet is also super close to groceries, take aways and Anse source d'argent while still being placed in a calm area. You can bike around all of La Digue in no time. Would stay here again if we come back.

The property and the garden were very well maintained and clean. Penny was of great help throughout our stay there (from arranging pick up and drop off from the ferry/jetty, to arranging a taxi to take us to bellvue restaurant)

Overall a very recommended accommodation in La Digue!

Modern and elegantly decorated, Oceane Villa is a great and comfortable choice in La Digue. Although a bit outside of the Center, everything is reachable by bike and the hosts are very friendly as well helpful.

The ongoing construction work was a bit bothering when you are at the accommodation in the afternoon, but we knew this in advance as it was communicated to us. Also, I recommend the hosts to manage the bookings and try to avoid double-bookings as it seems to be a recurring issue.

the location is ok - is not easy to find it but also it is close to the main road you can rent a bike (100 scr per day per bike) the apartment is quite good eqipped so it is not a problem to prepare you own meals there

there are some construction works close to the apartements (the owner prepare more apartments) so you hear the contstuction and workers noises very often Due the construction works in the yard it looks like the apartments area is under construction there was some misunderstanding and we did not get the apartement which we booked. We agreed that we stay on the proposed one (villa 2)

Amazing time

We had very pleasant stay at the villa. The huis is cozy and very clean. Private swimming pool was perfect to cool down after riding the bike. The bedroom is specious with comfortable bed. WiFi is fast. The kitchen is fully equipped. Penny take care very good about the guest. You can rent a bicycle at the accommodation.

Superb

Large room where sofas and bed is located. For 2 people there was plenty of space. The bathroom was nice and clean, kitchen was well equipped and the terrace has a small pool where we cooled down after coming from the hike or beach. For extra 150 rupees per day you can get a bike at the property. Also the owner offered to reserve a taxi for us, but we rather walked. The road is paved , but on some place you there is send on the road so you may have to lift up the bag and carry it for 10 meters. The last 100 meters to reach the apartment is not paved. But we had no problems walking and it took us 25 minutes from the jetty to the apartment. All in all, we had a lovely time there and enjoyed our stay.

The bed is not that comfortable. It seemed that the cut slats under the mattress are not ideally placed.
