Bilboa was a surprisingly lovely place to visit, plenty of place to eat out in. Some lovely shopping

Hotel was in perfect location, well laid out.

Didn't do breakfast so can't comment. Coffee facilities in room could do with kettle as coffee machine water taste of coffee.

4 day city break in Bilbao

Modern central hotel right by the bridge that links over to the new town. Quick online check in. Complimentary l bottle of water. Small fridge and a safe which was handy. Air con worked great heat and on the cool mode. Bed linen and towels changed daily if you want. Recommend will definitely book again.

The shower/bathroom in general is glass and basically see through. So if not with your partner. Can be awkward. Like me with me mother. Haha. But other than that, everything is great.

Artsy hotel at the entrance to old town, perfectly located to visit the city

The location of the hotel was just at the entrance to old town, so ideally situated to visit the city and all it has to offer. The hotel itself is very artsy and nicely designed, outside and in, same goes for the room we were staying in. Given that I was travelling with my sister, the fact that we had a transparent bathroom and shower in the middle of the room wasn't as useful, but I imagine that there are people that would highly enjoy this. The beds were really comfortable, we had some tea and coffee along with water as a welcome gift, and the size of the room was big enough for our short stay. Lastly, we booked breakfast for one of the mornings before we left, which was solid with some usual choices of fruits, breads, cereal, eggs and meat - but for someone that is vegetarian and prefers to eat vegan sometimes, it was a bit disappointing and not as easy to find options. I'd recommend extending the choices for sure!

The only "downside" or minus point was that we got a room on the second floor with a view on another building (wall) with offices etc, so didn't really enjoy the view that people facing the river and plaza had. Also, it wasn't possible to open the windows to let in fresh air and using the air con didn't really get the freshness in we were seeking.

If you want to visit the old and new town on foot ,this is the place to stay.

This hotel is very well located : near shopping stores , just behind Plaza Nueva and the old Bilbao , market and museums. Only a few minutes walking distance to many restaurants ,bar and shops. Also good breakfast in the hotel.

Great hotel in a good location near to the old square with all the bars - friendly, happy area.

Great location, clean and the room size for city centre exceeded expectations (and contradicted some TripAdvisor comments). Room was on front so thought it could be noisy but it wasn't, and aircon worked well. Only disappointment rooftop bar was not open.....
