North Seven is a very good hotel near Ernakulam Town station with clean rooms and great food, though a bit pricy. Some guests felt a balcony was missing for views and drying clothes. The staff were e (Read More)xtremely accommodating for a family event, leading to a pleasant experience. The location is walkable from the station. The ambience and cleanliness are praised, along with top-notch service and early breakfast for early flights. Highly recommended for future stays.

Potentially comfortable stay marred by malfunctioning AC and non-customer centric approach
Hotel with a lot of potential but marred due to issues mentioned in the next section. Some of the positives are that: - Good and accessible location. - Rooms are small but neat - Bed linen and towels were spotless/clean - Bathrooms were very clean - Food was good (room service) - Iron box and board was provided promptly
- AC did not work sufficiently at night, and my complaint took from 2.30am - 5 am to resolve - Hotel staff took from 2.5 hours to allot me a different room, upon complaining - The AC in the new room was slightly better, at least I could sleep, but was still nowhere close to the strength of ACs in hotels half the cost. Your basic OYO room or household AC will be freezing cold at 16 degrees but here you could barely feel it. - They spent most of the 2 sleepless hours arguing defensively that "this is what 16 degrees feels like", "can't u feel the cold breeze?", "we have no other rooms available". They would also periodically disappear saying they would check and call back, and mysteriously forget that I was waiting for a call-back. - Another room faced an AC issue, and they were quick to tell me that that was that customers own fault - There was no offer of a refund, discount or anything. In fact, after finally changing my room at 5 am they told me proudly that the new room is an "upgrade" for me. - Given the cost of INR4500 per night, I expected that the first response of the staff would be to ensure I had a comfortable stay, and not to prioritize defending their AC vehemently. If the staff had quickly/promptly changed my room, or provided a discount or even acknowledged that the AC issue was real --> I would have probably left a more neutral review. I think the management probably needs to upgrade staff training protocol to be more customer-centric and definitely upgrade their AC system, which would make the place worth the money. The policy could also include how to compensate customers for an uncomfortable and sleepless night's stay.

God save this hotel, which treats its guests like scum
Good location
Most unprofessional and untrained staff. Despite having a confirmed reservation from Booking.com for a second day, I was asked to check out of the hotel in the most impolite manner. When the matter was escalated to the Manger, she was extremely rude and argumentative, instead of being sympathetic to the harassed guest. She even abruptly walked away in the midst of the conversation. The message that she very clearly conveyed to her staff was that it is okay to be rude to the guests and they could get away with it. Breakfast was sub-standard. Room service delivered only part of the items ordered. When the room card was temporarily misplaced, it took the staff 15 minutes to open the room with a Master Key. A replacement was not given, saying that it was chargeable. Thank God, I eventually retrieved the misplaced key, otherwise the trauma could have been worse. The entire front office staff is totally raw and inexperienced. Definitely not coming back here.

Disgrace if this is 4 star hotel
The property is relatively new but there are no asthetics. I took a premium room and it was so small wonder what the deluxe room would be like. Basic amenities are missing from the room. Could not get a dental kit even after call. Room has almost zero amenities. Good enough to be called a 2 star property at the max. Extremely disappointed.

Helpful staff. Had an early morning flight so the staff packed lovely breakfast too. The TV remote didnt work but all else was good
