Disappointing

Very expensive for what it is and what it has to offer. Will not go there again.

The Central location was ideal to get into the old town

I can see the cost savings when avoiding the employment of staff. However, when you are welcomed with a smile and a glass of bubbly (As was the case in a competing hotel), the overall experience is much more pleasurable. For someone coming from overseas and unaware of for example parking restrictions, it would have made a difference if someone was on hand to give the basic advise. As it happens we got done to the tune of 40 Euros for a simple parking offence. My daughter was on the second floor. Going up the first wobbly set of outside stairs, carrying luggage, then to go up again a steep set of stairs was fine for a young fit person. Anyone else needs to think again. Last but not least, it seems that the room was attended to after our first day of our two day stay (not sure what they did but someone certainly entered our room), but you would have thought that the cost of the room would have extended to a refill of the coffee and tea. Overall, and although the rooms were nice, we were less than impressed.

Lovely hideaway in the heart of Ghent

The building itself is very charming, I love how it looks like a little hideout from the big city. The room itself was lovely: the lights, the colors, the design.. Every aspect of the room really contributes to this romantic, mysterious vibe which I personally love! Last but not least, the room smells amazing.

The room was pretty clean, but the cleaning crew missed some details I'm afraid. It wasn't a dealbreaker at all though!

Nicely reno'ed cute hotel

The location was great. The room was spacious and clean. The bread at breakfast was delicious.

The bathroom had a window right in front of the toilet. For people who are private that might be an issue. We have not seen any staff during checking-in. I think it would have been nice to interact.

Perfectly located boutique hotel for visiting the old centre of Ghent.

Perfect location, comfortable bed, good shower. Well designed room though the wardrobe area could do with a light.

Lack of reception attendance at check in and during our 4 day stay. However the hotel advised that they are aware of this and are working to change this.
