Lovely hotel close to Pittville Park

It was a very comfortable hotel. The decor was lovely with a mini bar and nice breakfast room. The bedroom was cosy and warm. Lovely comfy bed. Great shower. Staff were excellent, very efficient and accomodating. It was a gorgeous hotel.

We paid way over the going rate due to the Cheltenham races. Breakfast was okay but toast went cold while we waited for butter to be put out. Breakfast was good in general but I've had better.

Superb

A rather grand home from home.

It is both homely and intriguing atmosphere. There are lots of little touches that make a big difference. The food at the restaurant looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly.

My advice would be not mess around with how the room is set up. There was a big old fashioned radiator pumping out heat and a window open just a little. That combination maintained temperature just right.

All in all a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. Would definitely stay again

I loved the style of the hotel and it was so warm and cosy. Lovely comfy bed and spacious room.

I am knit picking really. A soft close toilet seat would be nice and somewhere to sit and do hair and makeup. Our room wasnt refreshed on the second day. There are not many parking spaces but parking on the road seems plentiful.

Beautiful decor and ambience. Warm welcome. High quality bedroom with everything in good working order. It's dining room was beautiful and had a unique design.

Parking was easy enough on the street and the hotel organises a parking permit. However it's tight getting the car in at the front of the hotel to unload. The building is period with no lift and whilst this was not a problem for us it is a consideration.

Very good but beware of the dog(s)!

All excellent - decor, staff, food etc. Lovely place.

Noise issues my only concern - quite creaky floorboards plus there were guests staying above me with a dog, which I don't think is great for other guests. Loved the place, but this might put me off staying again.
