Ideal rural location with no fuss and bother

We loved the location, the decor, the comfort and the general atmosphere. It's an ideal location for walking, and not too far from the local amenities. Host we was excellent - helpful but not intrusive. We appreciated the flexibility for a later checkout. Great breakfast too.

This is a high class B&B with a friendly and helpful host

The proprietors were helpful and friendly. They were accommodating about our bicycles and advised on the best place to eat locally. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was generous and well-cooked. In all great value. The location was ideal for us with splendid views across the fields from our room

Iv stayed in worse for more money .. ticks a lot of boxes but needs a bit of upgrading in areas .. would stay again

Really good location for whilton mill kart track.. super safe parking and beautiful views over the country side.. pleasant owners and a nice cooked breakfast

Its a very old beautiful property but could do with some upgrades to TVs Bathroom for our family room was tiny and cluttered with stuff that didnt need to be there. Bed was chocked up with bits of wood that were falling out as floors are uneven due to buildings age. Again could of been a bit better executed. Saying that bed was very comfortable.
