Best avoided

The property was close to Ben Nevis.

This property has clearly been recently taken over. Unfortunately this property needs several 100 of thousands spent in it. The room we were allocated 101 flooded as the drains were blocked. We were moved to room 5 which had a 70s feel about it. The breakfast was poor and the coffee was like dishwasher. The property boasts 4 stars, unfortunately if an inspection was to take place Im sure it would manage a 2 star establishment!

Superb

Overall we did like to stay in the hotel.

Food was nice and tasty. Especially homemade soup and avocado toasts. Liked that we could see guests with their dogs inside the hotel. Staff were polite and always helpful. We stayed during Christmas time so loved how the hotel was decorated.

There was a buzzing sound all the time during our stay. It didnt bother us when we were awake or sleeping but it was disturbing when falling asleep.

Brilliant hotel & staff. I will be back!

Lovely quiet setting overlooking the Caledonian Canal. Polite & helpful staff. Great breakfast which was freshly cooked to order. Nice room with modern bathroom. Plenty tea / coffee & shortbread. Plenty tourist information in the room.
