I wouldnt let me dog stay here!

There was nothing nice about this property! DO NOT BOOK HERE! There are no staff on site - the property is on a street where most of the houses are boarded up and a local taxi driver told us the majority of the ones that arent boarded up are brothels or crack dens! He actually advised us not to walk outside on our own (2 females!) as it was dangerous

The bed linen was dirty, the shared areas were smelly and dirty, the shower had no hot water. Theres no staff on site. Its a key code entry which we hadnt been given the code for meaning the first night of our stay we couldnt even get in- stranded in a city we had never been to at midnight forcing us to find another hotel to stay in on the first night! The owner has stacks of urgent post at the property from the city council - all stacks up to the fact nothing is above board!

Very poor

Very misleading if not outright deceitful communication/advertising

A fair amount of diverse international food starting within a 5 minutes walk.

Having seen other reviews I asked in advance to make sure I received clear check-in instructions (and that I could drop off my bag early) and I received a reply saying this wouldn't be a problem, "they're happy to confirm this". Some time before I left on my way I asked again what the check-in instructions are. I arrived at the time I said I would to the address (no sign it's any accommodation by the way) and knocked on the door (- it's listed as having 24-hour front desk reception (but there is no desk/recpetion at all!)). No answer. I checked my email again, still 0 more check-in instructions to follow up. Fortunately the contact answered their phone but was really quite rude and aggressive. Then I had to wait for his email finally, still out on the sidewalk with some unfriendly neighbours with all my luggage. The room I was assigned was smaller than in the photos, there was no seating area in the room (despite the advertisement), there was no washing machine in the room (despite the advertisement) and the one there is outside was already filled with what looked like linens from the accommodation when I went to use it. Other things I recall advertised were missing from the room too (iron, kettle, hairdryer). The sink is in your face if you go to sit on the toilet. It is a cheap house, just cheaply flipped to rent out. It's very poorly insulated so lots of noise comes in, including the aggravating beeping of the low battery smoke alarm and yelling of others. At no point did any staff ask how my stay was nor apologize for their deceptive communication.

It was nearly ok.

the bed was comfortable.

the shower plug was blocked, so i had to keep turning the shower off, wait for the water to drain away. turn the shower on rinse myself some more then turn the shower off and wait for it to drain. The front door was hard to open and hard to close.

It's cheap and you get what you pay for. It's completely passable for a few nights stay

Wifi was good, TV in room worked, shower was hot and the bed was comfy. Staff were quick to respond when contacted. Parking out front on street was always available.

The front door is damaged and is difficult to close properly, meaning that other guests often just left the front door wide open. Window lock was also broken meaning it couldn't be closed properly.

Disappointing

The shower was hot. Kitchen handy

Maintenance not up to scratch, cupboards in kitchen need fixing.Avoiid staying in the ground floor front room right on the street. Blockout blinds needed as the street lights shone through the vertical blind gaps on the (very small) bed. Noisy people walking past all hours of the night keeping us awake. Other guests arrived home both nights at 2am. Very small room. Didn't feel safe in the area.
