Idyllic retreat.

A lovely location, so peaceful for our stopover on the way to Cornwall. Room well appointed, luxurious bathroom , so spacious.

A fridge in the room. The place is isolated so be brought a cold dinner and breakfast so would have been good to chill the milk and orange juice.

Lovely grounds and an unusual place to stay, could have been better with timely access information

The grounds are lovely and the room is comfortable, bathroom spacious, and its easy to park right outside. There was nice tea and coffee left for us. Its a very handy place to stop on the way to the South West just off the M25. The grounds have real character. Having stayed there once I would stay again now we know how it works.

The arrival was disappointing and very difficult. We were given only phone numbers to ring. I rang 4 times and left messages before anyone answered, and the phone signal there is quite poor. Lots time wasted hanging around and no-one to help. This is despite us arriving in mid afternoon at the time we said we would. We weren't told in advance which of 4 terrace rooms were were staying in, nor how to get in. We were sent multiple maps which were needed; the place is still very hard to find even in daylight, we got lost and had to ask directions. The breakfast was described as a 'breakfast basket' which we decided didn't sound very good. Would advise anyone to ring before travel to get details of which property and key code, if these are not emailed to you. And would suggest that the owners email this information to guests please.

Didnt stay booked into a local hotel

We left soon after arriving due to mould on pillow and damp smell we have sent a email of complaint we want our money back

Peaceful, comfortable and lovely and relaxing

Remote, quiet and beautiful grounds

The only downside the room could have done with two comfy chairs, the chairs that were there were very small and not comfortable so we had to sit on the bed which wasnt the end of the world but two nice chairs would have been much better.
